AMMAN — A
harvest moon is expected to light up the skies over Jordan on September 20,
according to astronomy expert Imad Mujahed, from the Wadi Rum/Umm Aldammi
Observatory, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Mujahed said that the
harvest moon will be visible in the skies over Wadi Rum, the Badia areas, next
Monday.
He said that the moon will
be seen to the northeast over Amman at sunset on Monday and remain bright until
sunrise the next day, for a total of 12 hours.
