High tourist traffic witnessed during eid holiday

AMMAN — Tourist attractions in Ajloun have witnessed high traffic during the Eid Al-Fitr holiday from local and foreign visitors, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.اضافة اعلان

Tourism Director Mohammed Al-Deek said that the occupancy rate at many camps, resorts and tourist restaurants in the province reached 100 percent and that the number of and tourists visiting Ajloun Castle, Mar Elias and other sites exceeded 30,000, according to Petra.

He pointed out that the cadres of Ajloun Tourism Directorate continued field visits and inspections throughout the holiday to ensure the compliance of tourist establishments with defense orders and health and preventive measures, in order to preserve the safety of all.
