Investigation of Irbid town's sewage system

AMMAN — Irbid Governor Rudwan Otoum formed a committee on Saturday to investigate the reasons behind the recurrent flooding of the sewage system in Kutm town, in Irbid Governorate, 69km north of Amman. اضافة اعلان

The committee was also tasked with finding solutions for the problem, a longtime source of complaints from the town’s residents, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

Director of Yarmouk Water Company Montaser Al-Momani attributed the phenomenon to the discharge of the contents of sewage tanks in the town’s sewers, which, he said, leads to their blockage, Petra reported.
