JEDCO, KAFD team up for youth business program

AMMAN— The Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO), in partnership with the King Abdullah II Fund for Development, on Sunday launched the Behemcom program to support youth projects and funding of up to JD250,000.اضافة اعلان

The program targets youth entrepreneurial projects throughout Jordan, in order to encourage entrepreneurship, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

A statement released by the fund said that the idea of the program is to provide financial and technical support to young people and provide training, guidance, and guidance opportunities for them to transform their entrepreneurial ideas into economic projects.

The program targets owners of entrepreneurial or emerging projects from various sectors and owners of existing projects, who are registered with the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Supply with financial grants amounting to a maximum of JD5,000 dinars. 

Young people wishing to benefit from the project will be able to submit their applications through www.jedco.gov.jo until November 13.
