AMMAN — The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization on Monday sent a plane filled with medical supplies to the Lebanese people, in coordination with the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army and the Ministry of Health.
The authority said in a statement that the plane was carrying medicine and supplies to be delivered to the authorities in Lebanon.
Hussein Al-Shibli, the secretary-general of the authority, said that in implementation of the Royal directives, contact was made with the Ministry of Health to secure supplies.
Since the Beirut port crisis, the authority has sent five planes loaded with humanitarian aid, generators, food, and medicine and supplies.
