JREEEF recognized for sustainable development

AMMAN  — The Jordan Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Fund (JREEEF) from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources recently won the 2021 WeMed Mediterranean Sustainability Award in the category of Public Authorities.اضافة اعلان

In a press statement released on Saturday, JREEEF said the WeMed Award is granted to contributors that raise awareness on sustainable entrepreneurship and promote it as the main driver of a transition towards a green economy in the Mediterranean region.

The WeMed Award is divided into two categories, the first is a Sustainable Business Models, and the second is Public Authorities, according to the statement.

The first edition of WeMed was funded by the EU, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
