AMMAN — The President of the
Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) Saeb Khreisat said on Monday that the Higher
Education Council approved the creation of four new specializations at the
university in the bachelor's and master's programs, starting from the next
academic year 2021-2022.

Khreisat indicated that a master's program in radiology
technology, a bachelor's program in anesthesia technology, and a bachelor's program
in respiratory therapy in the in the department of supporting medical sciences
of the faculty of applied medical sciences, and a bachelor's program in
cybersecurity at the faculty of computer and information technology have been
created.
For his part, dean of the faculty of applied medical
sciences, Ziad Batayneh, said that the creation of these programs came to
supply the local market with the expertise and competencies trained to deal
with different patient segments and strive to improve the quality of health
services provided to the community and citizens.
