The owners of tourist facilities said that improving tourism
contributes to providing more job opportunities and compensating for part of
their losses they suffered during the pandemic.
Head of the Craftsmen Association in Jerash, Salah
Al-Ayasrah, said that tourism improved immediately after the end of Ramadan, by
no less than 70 percent.
He added that the lifting of the lockdown and the
reduction of curfew hours helped to increase the number of visitors, and their
stay in the governorate.
