Job fair held in east Amman

AMMAN — On Monday, about 50 industrial companies in east Amman Industrial Area attended a job day, offering some 700 job opportunities and conducted by the East Amman Industrial Investors Association (EAIIA), according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. اضافة اعلان

East Amman has a total of 1,800 small and medium-sized establishments. 
During the event, Head of the EAIIA Board of Directors Mohammad Zaki Al-Saudi stressed the importance of the private sector, especially the industrial sector, in providing jobs for the local workforce, indicating that the association seeks to connect factories with companies and job seekers and ensure that job seekers are trained and employed under the proper work conditions.
    
He added that Jordanian industry currently employs around 25 percent of the country’s workforce, indicating that supporting local industry directly leads to an increase in job opportunities for Jordanians.
