Director General of the Jordan Tourism Board, Dr. Abdelrazzaq Arabiyat, stated:
"We view the Saudi market as a vital and strategic partner for Jordan’s tourism sector. Through these familiarization visits, we aim to enhance our relationship with partners in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and showcase the unique tourism experiences Jordan has to offer."

Arabiyat added:
"Organizing such tours in cooperation with Royal Jordanian helps to strengthen tourism connectivity between the two countries and opens the door for tailored travel programs that align with the preferences of Gulf tourists. This, in turn, boosts the potential for increased visitor numbers in upcoming seasons."

The purpose of the tour was to introduce the Saudi delegation to Jordan’s diverse tourism assets, including its unique archaeological sites, breathtaking natural landscapes, and authentic hospitality experiences. The program included field visits to various tourist destinations across the Kingdom.

On the sidelines of the visit, the JTB organized a B2B workshop that brought together Saudi tourism agency representatives and their Jordanian counterparts. The session aimed to explore direct cooperation opportunities and pave the way for strategic partnerships that meet the aspirations of the Gulf tourism market.

This initiative falls under the JTB’s broader strategy to increase Jordan’s visibility and appeal in the Gulf region—especially in Saudi Arabia, which is considered one of the most important target markets due to its size and positive impact on the national tourism sector.
