Amman – The Ministry of Labor has launched the "Employer Portal for Inspection, Safety, and Occupational Health Services" on its website.
Employers can access the electronic portal through the ministry's website (
https://mol.gov.jo), which provides a range of electronic services designed to facilitate and simplify procedures for each establishment, saving time and effort.

In a press statement on Monday, the director of the Inspection Directorate at the ministry, Engineer Haitham Najdawi, stated that the portal offers 13 electronic services for employers, which will be rolled out in phases over the coming period.
He noted that in the first phase, six services were launched, including: a service for entering establishment branches that are not listed in the Ministry of Labor's database, a service for registering employees to be used in electronic services, a summary service of inspection visits conducted by the ministry's inspectors to ensure transparency, a service to appeal inspection procedures and visit results, and a service for attaching the required files from the inspector after the visit.
Najdawi explained that among the services to be provided in the first phase through the portal are accreditation services, which include: accreditation of a full-time doctor, part-time doctor through a second party, part-time doctor, full-time doctor through a second party, accreditation of a nurse, nurse through a second party, accreditation of a paramedic, paramedic through a second party, accreditation of a specialized supervisor, accreditation of a full-time technical supervisor, accreditation of a part-time technical supervisor, and accreditation of safety and occupational health committees.
He indicated that the services to be launched in the second phase will include: a quarterly work injury record, reporting a work injury within 48 hours of the incident, reporting occupational diseases or suspected cases among workers, reporting fatal work injuries within 48 hours of the incident, Institution Notification Form No. (1) in accordance with the provisions of paragraph (A) of Article (8) of the Labor Law, and records that the employer is required to keep under the provisions of paragraph (B) of Article (8) of the Labor Law.
The services in the third phase will include: a statement of workers' eligibility and ability to work under Article (21), documentation of the minutes of occupational health and safety committee meetings, and the golden list.
