AMMAN — Medical Aid for Palestinians (
MAP) on Monday
launched a campaign in cooperation with Al-Shami Eye Center to conduct 100
surgeries, free of charge, for adults and the elderly who reside in refugee
camps.

In a statement on Monday, MAP said the campaign marks
World Refugee Day, which was celebrated globally on June 20 and seeks to assist those
who suffer with eye conditions, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
MAP, headed by HRH Prince Hassan, aims to provide primary
healthcare through specialty clinics in the Gaza Camp in Jerash, Hittin Camp in
southwest Zarqa and Al-Talibiyah Camp in Al-Jazeera.
