Mafraq agriculture minister joins locust control campaign

AMMAN — Minister of Agriculture Khaled Al-Hneifat on Sunday supervised locust control operations in Mafraq Governorate’s Balama and Khaldiyah, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.اضافة اعلان

Hneifat reviewed the procedures for tracking the locust path and its movement, expressing gratitude for efforts made by cadres taking part in the control operations, in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, and the Public Security Directorate, according to Petra.

Hneifat met with a number of farmers and was briefed on the outcomes of the operation in their farms, and thanking them for their cooperation during the campaign.
