AMMAN — Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Nayef Al-Fayez on Sunday met with
representatives of a
Nigerian delegation currently visiting the Kingdom to
discuss religious tourism.

Talks focused on improving religious tourism
cooperation and increasing the number of visitors to the Kingdom, according to the
Jordan News Agency, Petra.
For his part, the official representative of
the Nigerian government touched on the amount of religious
archaeological sites
in Jordan, hailing the Kingdom’s peace and stability despite turbulence in
neighboring countries.
The Nigerian official also pointed to the
importance of cementing bilateral medical tourism, praising Jordan's public
health and safety measures taken to halt the spread of coronavirus.
