During the meeting, attended by MPs Abdul Hadi Braidat, Eissa Nassar, Qassem Qubai and two members of the Madaba provincial council, the current status of projects being executed by the Ministry of Public Works in the governorate and decentralization projects were presented.

According to a statement issued by the ministry, Abu Samman emphasized the ministry's ongoing efforts to implement these projects to the highest specifications and within the predetermined timelines, expressing readiness for continuous cooperation with the members of parliament to serve the public interest.

He noted that there is a significant number of projects currently underway and others for which tender documents are being prepared and studies conducted for upcoming bids, including central projects executed by the ministry and others under the provincial council.

The minister instructed the Madaba Directorate of Public Works to complete the decentralization projects before the end of the current year to ensure that the current budget allocations are not returned to the Ministry of Finance.

They also called for the establishment of a theater in the town of Dhiban in collaboration with the Ministry of Education to serve the education sector and local communities and to stimulate cultural activities in the area, which lacks such facilities.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Public Works is currently implementing about six projects in Madaba Governorate, distributed among buildings, roads, and various maintenance works, while approximately 24 projects have been included in next year’s budget.
