Municipality launched environmental campaign

AMMAN — The Greater Maan Municipality has started implementing environmental awareness campaigns to address litter and the importance of maintaining cleanliness.اضافة اعلان

The Deputy Governor of Maan and head of its municipal committee Khaled Al-Hajjaj, told the Jordan News Agency, Petra on Tuesday that the municipality has prepared a plan to deal with environmental issues that cause health risks.

He added that neighborhood committees will be started and linked with the municipality to support them in performing their tasks, noting that community participation is an essential pillar that contributes to the success of municipal work.

He added that the Maan Model Park for families and children has been opened, and the Women and Children's Garden will be opened in the coming days for families and children.
