Tourism income in February 2025 reached approximately 428 million Jordanian Dinars, marking a 10% increase compared to February 2024, when tourism income stood at 390 million dinars. This growth is attributed to the rise in the number of tourists and increased spending by visitors, especially from key tourist markets, particularly Arab tourists.

One-day visitors also saw a remarkable rise, reaching 198,000 compared to 130,000 in 2024, reflecting a growth of 52.2%.
This increase in tourist numbers and tourism income can be attributed to several factors, notably enhanced promotional campaigns in targeted tourism markets, as well as the resumption of new direct and low-cost flights.
The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities is working to further boost the tourism sector’s performance and its contribution to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) by developing the tourism product and infrastructure, enhancing the visitor experience, intensifying marketing campaigns, and focusing on various types of tourism and diversifying target markets. This will help ensure continued growth, create job opportunities, and solidify Jordan’s position as a global tourist destination.
