AMMAN — The Ministry of Health has completed the updates it
was making to the dialysis unit at Prince Faisal Hospital in Russeifa, adding
25 new beds and providing the unit with the latest medical equipment, according
to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

On Tuesday, the hospital’s director, Dr. Nashaat Farah, said
in a statement that updating the dialysis unit will help keep patients
comfortable, and improve the quality of health services provided to them.
He also said that the ministry provided the hospital with
the required nursing staff, along with the necessary medical devices, and
equipping it to the highest specifications.
The unit after renovations now has 33 beds for dialysis, and
can receive around 150 patients a day. Before renovations, it was only
receiving 43 patients distributed across shifts.
