Al-Masarweh said that the Ministry of Environment has worked towards developing legislation aimed at improving the environment in Karak, specifically related to problems resulting from the agricultural process, such as pests and various agricultural wastes.
The Ministry of Agriculture also noted that figures indicate that 90 percent of livestock fatalities are caused by eating plastic waste.
