AMMAN — More than 622,000 passengers traveled through the
Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) during July, marking an increase of 60 percent compared to the same period in 2020, according to the
Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC).

CARC Chief Commissioner Haitham Misto said that departure and arrival movement at QAIA jumped by 36 percent to 5,359 in July, bringing the total number of aircraft movement to 20,569 since the onset of this year, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
Following a government decision to exempt passengers who have received two
COVID vaccinations from taking the PCR test upon arrival, around 28 percent of passengers visited the Kingdom in July 2021.
