AMMAN — The
Jordan Marathon Association announced the opening of registration for the 13th Amman Marathon, which will be held under the slogan «Run In the Heart of Amman and Maintain Your Health,” on October 29, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

The association indicated that registration and payment can be done electronically through their website, or by visiting their headquarters in Shmeisani area, and registering there, directly.
According to a statement from the association, on Tuesday, the participation fees are as following: for adult Jordanians and resident foreigners (ages 18 and up) amounted to JD15, and for Jordanians and resident foreigners who are minors (under 18) JD10, while for adult non-resident foreigners it amounted to $100, and non-resident foreigners minors pay $50.
Participation fees are JD10 for escorts, armed forces, public security, gendarmerie, civil defense guards, and university students.
This year›s marathon will be different from previous years, there will be no gathering area for contestants, instead, there will be designated car parking areas. Participants will be directed to the starting point directly, and public safety measures are required to be followed.
Participants cannot register unless they’ve received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine or if 21 days have passed since their first dose.
