Aqaba- The Southern Military Zone thwarted an attempt to smuggle drugs using a drone in the early hours of Monday on its western front.

A military source in the Jordanian Armed Forces stated that border guard forces, in coordination with military security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department, successfully intercepted the smuggling attempt by a drone attempting to cross the border. The source explained that engagement rules were applied after it was spotted and tracked, and it was dealt with and shot down within Jordanian territory, with the seized items referred to the relevant authorities.اضافة اعلان
