AMMAN — The Koura District’s Education Directorate honored students that participated in the fifth edition of the
Arab Reading Challenge on Monday.

During a ceremony, in the presence of department heads and competition supervisors, director of education, Maen Al-Shanaq, said that the Arab Reading Challenge project contributes to building generations of educated children capable of keeping pace with cultural and intellectual development.
He added that he valued the efforts of the participating students, their families, supervisors, and school principals over the course of the entire academic year, which resulted in seven students from the directorate reaching the qualification stage in the Kingdom.
The Arab Reading Challenge competition is an initiatives from the Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Prime Minister, and Ruler of
Dubai,
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum.
It aims to instill a love of reading among children and youth in the Arab world, according to Jordan News Agency, Petra.
