His Majesty King Abdullah II arrived in the homeland around 1:00 PM on Thursday, returning from the U.S. capital, Washington.

Jordan witnessed widespread public calls to welcome His Majesty at Marka Airport, where citizens from various governorates gathered to express their appreciation for his honorable and steadfast positions in defending Arab causes—foremost among them the Palestinian cause—as well as safeguarding Jordan’s interests, stability, and the well-being of its people above all else.

On Wednesday, Speaker of the House of Representatives Ahmed Al-Safadi called on the Jordanian people to welcome His Majesty King Abdullah II and Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II upon their return from their working visit at Marka Airport, in recognition of their firm stance in defending Jordan and Palestine.

His Majesty the King held talks with former U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House on Tuesday, with Crown Prince Hussein in attendance. During the meeting, His Majesty reaffirmed that Jordan’s interests would always be his top priority.

Speaking to reporters at the start of his bilateral talks with the U.S. President, King Abdullah emphasized that achieving stability, peace, and prosperity in the region is a shared responsibility.

He also noted that Egypt and other Arab nations are set to present a plan regarding Gaza, stressing the importance of finding a solution that considers the interests of all parties, particularly the well-being of the Jordanian people.

In both the bilateral and expanded discussions that followed, the two leaders underscored the significance of Jordan-U.S. ties and the need to build on their strategic partnership.اضافة اعلان
