The number of international visitors to the Kingdom in 2024 surpassed the targets set in the Economic Modernization Vision for the same year by 13.8%, reaching approximately 6.108 million visitors. This exceeded the projected target of 5.367 million visitors.

According to the 2024 Annual Tourism Report, obtained by the Jordan News Agency (Petra), tourism revenue for 2024 also exceeded the vision’s projected figures by 2.9%, reaching 5.132 billion dinars, while the expected revenue was 4.989 billion dinars.
The report highlighted that in 2025, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities will prioritize several key areas to ensure continuous improvement and enhance resilience in handling challenges facing the tourism sector, particularly during periods of crisis such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the aggression on Gaza.
To fulfill its commitments under the Economic Modernization Vision, the ministry will oversee the implementation of government tourism priorities, each comprising a series of activities with defined timelines.
Additionally, the ministry will monitor the monthly progress of these activities and submit reports to the Government Performance and Achievement Monitoring Unit at the Prime Ministry. Furthermore, it will intensify its efforts to ensure that the key performance indicators outlined in the vision are successfully achieved.
