Tourism and heritage exhibition opens in Salt

AMMAN — Chairman of the Greater Salt Municipality Committee Ali Al-Batayneh on Sunday opened a photo exhibition on tourism and heritage at the Cultural Associations Complex in Salt. اضافة اعلان

The opening of the “Tourism and Heritage Photo Exhibition about Jordan,” included a ceremony with poets Afaf Ghoneim, Naamat Al-Azza, Saeed Yaqoub, Majid Nuseirat, and Rakan Al-Masaeed reciting some of their own poems.

The president of the association, Awni Al-Rahhela, stressed the importance of the achievements made during the first centenary of the Jordanian state, for which the exhibition was held, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. A delegation from the Al-Masoudi Association for Culture and Heritage from Aqaba participated in the exhibition, which was organized by the Friends of the Salt Municipality Society, in cooperation with the Balqa Culture Directorate.
