AMMAN —
Al-Balqa Applied University on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding with the
Jordanian Green Building Council with the aim of establishing a framework for joint cooperation in the fields of environment, water, and energy.

According to a university statement, the memorandum was signed by vice president, Gandhi Anfugha, and president of the Jordanian Green Building Council, Raji Hattar, in the presence of the dean of scientific research and innovation, Saeed Abu Rumman, and director of the international center for water, environment, and energy research, Mohammad Abu Dayyeh.
The agreement aims to promote efficiency principles,
renewable energy usage, and increase the number of training workshops in various development areas, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
The memorandum also aims to exchange data, technical information, visits, research, and cooperative projects that are compatible with the goals and programs of both parties.
