Volunteer day cleans up Barqash forest

AMMAN  —Habitat for Humanity Middle East, the Golden Spikes Association (GSA), and the Barqash Municipality on Sunday carried out a volunteer environmental day in Barqash forest near Irbid.اضافة اعلان

The environmental day included a clean-up campaign aimed at sustaining the beauty of the forest, which is one of the area’s tourist attractions, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

The Senior Operations Manager for Habitat for Humanity in Jordan Haitham Alzuraiqi said that organizing such campaigns help ingrain the concept of volunteering in the culture, highlighting the importance of Barqash forest as an area that deserves attention.
