Al-Naimat stated that desert tourism has become a main
pillar of Jordan’s tourism industry, especially in light of the COVID-19
pandemic that shattered the foundation of the tourism sector. He added that
recently organized trips have contributed to increasing the number of tourists
during this particular period of the year, which is characterized by moderate
weather, making it an ideal time for such activities.
