Women’s center launches program to beautify local communities

AMMAN — The Rusaifa Young Women Center launched on Saturday an initiative called “Let’s decorate our streets” as part of activities from the My Skills Program. اضافة اعلان

Director of the center, Ghufran Istitieh, told the Jordan News Agency, Petra, that the initiative, which is implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth, UNICEF, and Generations For Peace, aims to recycle unused materials, such as car tires, and to use them in planting trees and creating green spaces. The initiative also involves painting murals in local communities.

She indicated that the directorate seeks, through these initiatives, to spread the spirit of cooperation and volunteerism among young men and women and to direct the energies of young people towards activities that benefit the country, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
