Women’s dialogue session held at municipality

AMMAN — The National Democratic Institute, in cooperation with the Women Empowerment Unit at the Greater Maan Municipality on Wednesday organized a dialogue session on women's participation in public life.اضافة اعلان

The session was presented by former MP Wafaa Bani Mustafa, in the presence of the head of the municipality committee Khaled Al-Hajjaj and the head of the Women's Empowerment Unit Asmaa Al-Emami and with the participation of a number of community activists in Maan Kasbah, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

The session dealt with a number of themes including the percentage of women in decision-making positions locally and internationally, and the impact of these percentages on enhancing and empowering women, as well as the importance of women’s participation bridging the gap between them and men to achieve democratic development.
