AMMAN — In collaboration with the Young Women’s Christian Association, the Business and Professional Women Club organized an exhibition, which was held Saturday, dedicated to the marketing of women’s homemade products, named “Supply Your Home,” according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

In the presence of representative Majdi Al-Yaqoub and the members of the local community in Madaba, the president of the club, Fadwa Al-Hamarneh, said that the fair, for its sixth year, was being held with the club’s contribution to creating a marketing window for women made homemade products to help them generate income for their families. This, she said, would contribute to the economic empowerment of women.
Hamarneh added that the club, in partnership with volunteers, is looking for a place to set up permanent headquarters to market the products, but it has not yet received a response in finding a free site.
The day-long exhibition included homemade products such as various kinds of popular food kinds, embroidery, and handcrafts.
