Workshop on the effects of using social media in Irbid

AMMAN — The Taiba District Youth Center organized an online workshop about the effects of social media on youth, on Thursday, with the participation of 20 young women from the center and the community, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. اضافة اعلان

Mariam Atharbeh, the trainer at the workshop, explained the concept of social media, its characteristics and effects on society. Atharbeh offered up methods of how to safely interact with social media.

The session included a dialogue between the participants, focusing on preventative measures to protect social media users, in addition to the types of cybercrimes that one should be cautious of and the related legal procedures following such incidents.
