AMMAN — Yarmouk University’s Deans' Council on
Wednesday approved the creation of a center for sustainable development studies.
The University's
Public Relations Department said in a statement that the center aims to conduct
research to help achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals related to the
economy, politics, society, the
environment, and education. The center will
also organize conferences, seminars, lectures, and hold workshops and training
courses for research projects implemented by it, according to the Jordan News
Agency, Petra.

The center also aims to provide decision makers and others with information and
the results of studies, research, surveys, and opinion polls requested from the
center.
