Youth center holds social media awareness session

AMMAN — Al-Taibah Female Youth Center in Irbid on Wednesday organized a virtual dialogue session on the impact of using social media outlets on the youth, with the participation of 20 young people representing the center and the local community.اضافة اعلان

Trainer Maryam Atharbeh went over the concept, characteristics, and impacts of social media on society, highlighting the importance of being able to differentiate between social media outlets and accredited news sources when seeking out information.

The session also included a dialogue that focused on cybercrimes and their types, in addition to relevant laws and preventive measures to protect users of social media, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
