AMMAN — Around 19 juveniles in the care of the Ministry
of Social Development recently participated in the Al-Ghaba camp program.
The Director of the juvenile department at the ministry, Ahmad Al-Zaben, told
the Jordan News Agency, Petra, that 19 youth in education and rehabilitation
centers and homes were selected to participate in the 3-day program.

He added that the program works on developing individual and life skills,
teamwork skills, leadership and communication skills, and improves self-confidence
and decision-making abilities.
Zaben added that rehabilitation programs aim to reintegrate
juveniles into society.
