Amman - The hot air mass is still affecting the Kingdom, on Friday. The weather will be mostly dry and hot, with occasional mild northwesterly winds. It will be quite hot in Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, the Jordan Meyteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

The JMD issues a warning in its report about the risks associated with exposure to direct sunlight, particularly in the afternoon when it is most likely to occur, forest fires, and leaving children alone in closed vehicles, even for a brief duration.
Temperatures in the capital Amman will range between high of 37 degrees Celsius and a low of 24 degrees.
Highs in the port city of Aqaba will reach 45 degrees, sliding to 27 degrees at night.
