AMMAN —
Jamal Tarad Al-Fayez, Director of the Hashemite Fund for Development of
the Jordanian Badia, highlighted that the ‘
Jameed and Samneh’ festival serves
as a marketing platform for dairy and cheese products produced by women’s
associations all over the Kingdom.

The festival will begin on Friday, June 9 from
10am to 9pm and is set to last for two days at Al-Hussein Gardens, the Jordan
News Agency, Petra reported.
According to the Director, this festival is
the seventh of its organized and contributes to marketing products of Jordanian
women. It facilitates the process of direct purchasing and enables the visitors
to explore different products of women from the Badia region.
Attendees can also enjoy Bedouin cuisine and
the accompanying heritage activities. In addition to this festival, the
association has trained the associations on rehabilitating pastoral reserves to
provide natural grazing areas with shrubs, forage plants, and aromatic herbs
with experts in the agricultural field.
With dairy factories and facilities operating
at full capacity, the association aims to bring traditional methods into
today’s world by providing advanced work domains.
