She clarified that her appearance in the interview was not meant to stir controversy, but rather to discuss her artistic journey and the success of her new song "La Thawani."

During her interview on the "ET بالعربي" program, Bousil expressed her surprise at the massive reactions to the previous interview, noting that she spoke about important milestones in her life, starting from her childhood, her participation in the "Star Academy" program, and eventually her marriage.

She added, "The episode wasn't dedicated solely to me; it covered my career as a whole and wasn't specifically prepared just for me."

In response to the criticisms related to her mentioning her previous marriage to Tamer Hosny, Bousil commented, "It's not my fault I was married to a famous person. This is part of my life that cannot be changed. I will continue doing what I love, and if people want to talk about me, they can, but it doesn't bother me."

Regarding the public’s reaction to her statements, Basma Bousil confirmed that she did not feel upset by the comments. She stated that she considered the interview one of the most open and comfortable conversations she had, where she freely spoke her mind and shared what was in her heart.

Bousil's comments sparked a significant amount of controversy among her followers, especially after she spoke about the struggles she faced during her early marriage, mentioning how love negatively impacted her and caused her to lose confidence in herself, leading her to experience difficult times, including long periods of crying and taking sedatives in a hysterical manner.

While some saw her comments as bold and brave, others criticized her for the contradictions in her statements. She had previously hinted at attempts to reconcile with Tamer Hosny, only to later confirm in the interview that she would never return to him.

In response to this criticism, Basma Bousil took to her Instagram account to share a message expressing her stance, saying, "It's strange how society expects a woman to remain silent so as not to damage the image of a man, but no one asks the man to behave appropriately to avoid breaking a woman's heart."

It is worth noting that Basma Bousil recently released the song "La Thawani," which received notable attention on social media platforms. The song was written by Alim, composed by Mohamed Khalaf, and arranged by Mohamed Al-Askari.
