In a statement released on Thursday, the museum explained that the exhibit aims to provide a unique and educational experience for children, helping to build a generation with high skills and competencies aligned with technological advancements in the media industry. The exhibit allows children to take on the role of a presenter by delivering weather reports that include information about various weather conditions.

The studio is equipped with a control room where children can learn about the role of a director in managing a broadcast by controlling audio, technical aspects, and content monitoring. It also includes cameras, enabling children to experience the role of a cameraman by filming reports. Additionally, the studio features a green screen where virtual visual effects representing different weather conditions are displayed, creating an exciting and immersive experience for young visitors.

The opening event featured several activities, including "Meet and Greet," where the ArabiaWeather team spoke about weather forecasting and the profession of a weather presenter. Children also participated in the "Rain Stick" activity, where they created a musical instrument that mimics the sound of rain, and the "What’s the Weather Today?" activity, which introduced them to weather symbols. Other activities included "Animals and Predictions," among others.

The Director of the Children's Museum, Sawsan Al-Dalq, expressed appreciation for ArabiaWeather’s support in developing and updating the Studio Exhibit, which expands children's horizons in understanding media work in a studio environment. She highlighted that this initiative enables children to experience the roles of presenters and cameramen using professional tools and equipment.

Al-Dalq emphasized that the event aligns with the museum’s mission to make learning enjoyable for everyone, achieving their vision of fostering a generation eager for knowledge.

Faris Shaaban, General Manager of ArabiaWeather, stated that the company is committed to collaborating with various organizations to serve the community. He expressed confidence that their partnership with the Children's Museum would help achieve their goals and promote interactive learning for children.

Shaaban also expressed his delight in being an active contributor to the museum’s engaging educational initiatives. He noted that the museum’s exhibits and diverse programs provide children with stimulating activities that encourage exploration, discovery, and engagement with the latest advancements in technology and science.

It is worth noting that ArabiaWeather, founded in 2010, is the first weather and meteorological consulting company in the Arab world. It provides high-quality weather forecasts and information in multiple languages.
