The speculation led Ramadan to share a video on his social media accounts, addressing the mystery surrounding his project.
In the video, he said, "A lot of people are asking, ‘What is Ramadan Cannon? Is it real or not?’” before confirming, "Yes, it’s real… I know it will make my fans happy, upset some people, and scare others."
Ramadan did not disclose whether "Ramadan Cannon" would be a prank show, as some speculate, or a talk show featuring his interactions with fans in various locations. Instead, he maintained an air of suspense.
He urged his followers to watch the show on Egypt’s DMC channel right after Maghrib prayer at the start of Ramadan, placing it in a prime-time slot for the highly competitive season.
Ramadan wrapped up his message with a teaser: "You ask, what is Ramadan Cannon? I’ll tell you in short… a new kind of drama… Trust in God, success is coming!"
Thousands of fans interacted with the post, expressing their excitement and anticipation for what Ramadan has in store with "Ramadan Cannon."
