AMMAN — Palestinian Film Days is making a triumphant
return, bringing with it four captivating movie screenings that will grace the
screens of The Rainbow Theater in Jabal Amman from Sunday, November 19, to

Time: 7 p.m.
Genre: Documentary/Animation
This 2014 Palestinian-Canadian
animated film tells the tale of a small Palestinian village that disrupts the
status quo by purchasing 18 cows, thereby ending their reliance on
Israeli-controlled milk sources. Notably, it clinched the Documentary Feature Film
award at the Carthage Film Festival in 2014 and also earned recognition at the
Aljazeera International Documentary Film Festival.
3000 NightsMonday, November 20

Genre:
Drama/Documentary
Directed by Mai Masri, this 2015
drama documentary, originally titled 3000 Layla, revolves around a young
Palestinian schoolteacher who gives birth to her son while incarcerated in an
Israeli prison. The film has garnered acclaim for its robust female characters
and a compelling plotline.

Genre: Documentary
In this 2016 documentary, the
audience is taken back to the summer of 2014, where Mohamed Jabaly joins an
ambulance crew dedicated to rescuing those injured during the war in Gaza. The
documentary, which offers a first-person account, received a Feature Length
Documentary award in 2017.
All screenings are free to attend
and come with English and Arabic subtitles. Palestinian Film Days is a
collaborative effort organized by the Royal Film Commission in partnership with
The Rainbow Theater.
