Barcelona is on the brink of qualifying for the Champions League semi-finals for the first time in six years after a commanding 4-0 victory over Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of the quarter-finals on Wednesday.

Barcelona finished the first half with a 1-0 lead, courtesy of a goal from Brazilian Rafinha Dias in the 25th minute, at the Luis Companis Stadium in Barcelona.
In the second half, Robert Lewandowski scored a brace, finding the net in the 48th and 66th minutes against his former club. Lamine Yamal sealed the 4-0 victory with a goal in the 77th minute.
Dortmund, last season’s Champions League runners-up, now face a difficult challenge in the second leg next Tuesday at Signal Iduna Park in Germany.
The winner of the Barcelona vs. Dortmund match will face either Inter Milan or Bayern Munich in the semi-finals.
Inter Milan won the first leg 2-1 at Bayern Munich's home on Tuesday, and the two teams will meet again for the second leg next Wednesday at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium.
