Charity bazaar kicks off in Mafraq

AMMAN — A two-day charity bazaar for Jordanian women and Syrian refugees kicked in Mafraq on Tuesday. The market was organized by the New Horizons for Leadership Development and Training Center and the International Rescue Committee (IRC).  Director of the center, Tariq Hussein Al-Amoush, said that the two-day bazaar will host 20 Jordanian and Syrian women and their products, which include handicrafts, foods, and sweets, in addition to honey, cheese, dairy, pickles, accessories, clothes, soaps and embroidered items. The event will also have henna drawing. He added that all of the items will be nominally priced. The bazaar is part of an IRC program being implemented in Mafraq, Ramtha, Irbid, and Amman, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. The market was organized by the New Horizons for Leadership Development and Training Center and the International Rescue Committee (IRC). 

Director of the center, Tariq Hussein Al-Amoush, said that the two-day bazaar will host 20 Jordanian and Syrian women and their products, which include handicrafts, foods, and sweets, in addition to honey, cheese, dairy, pickles, accessories, clothes, soaps and embroidered items. The event will also have henna drawing.

He added that all of the items will be nominally priced.

The bazaar is part of an IRC program being implemented in Mafraq, Ramtha, Irbid, and Amman, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
