The Egyptian Public Prosecution has summoned singer Sherine Abdel Wahab for questioning regarding a complaint filed by lyricist Tarek Abdel Sattar, who accuses her of leaking the song "Kol El Hagat" without his prior permission.

The Sheikh Zayed Prosecution, led by Counselor Ihab El-Awady, has completed listening to Abdel Sattar’s testimony. In his complaint to the Cybercrime Investigation Unit, he stated that Sherine released the song "Kol El Hagat", which he owns the rights to, on YouTube without any prior agreement or authorization, causing him financial and moral harm.
According to local media reports, Abdel Sattar and the song’s composer were surprised to find the track leaked and released in Sherine’s voice.
Sherine had uploaded "Kol El Hagat" on her YouTube account at the end of June 2024, quickly garnering hundreds of thousands of views.
