Actress Leka Suedan revealed in a post on her personal Facebook account that her mother had suffered a health setback that required hospitalization and emergency surgery.

She asked her audience and followers to pray for her mother’s swift recovery and to help her overcome this crisis safely.
In her post, Leka Suedan said: "Praise be to Allah, and many thanks to Ain Shams Hospitals, Dr. Tarek Youssef, the Director of Ain Shams Hospitals, the doctors, and the nursing staff for their care during the surgery and in the ICU until we left the hospital.
My patient, strong, and always content mother with whatever Allah decrees. O Allah, grant healing that leaves no trace of illness for my mother and all patients."
Leka Suedan had earlier revealed that she had injured her foot, asking her followers and audience to pray for her speedy recovery so she could get through the setback. She posted pictures of her injury on her personal Facebook account, commenting: "Some people, if they cross your path, disaster strikes. I woke up to an unfortunate situation today. Thankfully, it was minor, and I was able to avoid any serious issues."
Immediately, comments flooded her post from her followers and friends, all wishing her and her mother a swift and full recovery.
