AMMAN — The
Lebanese National News Agency announced that artist Sami Clark, whose often
lent his voice to songs in cartoons, died on Sunday in Al-Roum Hospital at the
age of 74, according to Al-Mamlaka TV.

Clark was born in 1948 as Sami Hobeika, but later
became known under his stage name Sami Clark. He was proficient in singing in
languages such as English, French and Greek.
Clark sang some 700 songs, most known among them
“Qalti wa Waadtini”, and songs for cartoons like “Grendizer” and “Treasure Island”.
