Tips for Skin Care After Fasting
1. Hydration Hydrating your skin after fasting is the first and most important step. Drink plenty of water throughout the day, aiming for at least 8-10 glasses. Add hydrating foods like watermelon, cucumber, and coconut water to replenish lost fluids and electrolytes.

2. Use a Gentle Cleanser Your skin might lose its natural balance after fasting. Therefore, it is important to use a gentle, moisturizing cleanser. Opt for creamy, non-foaming cleansers to maintain your skin’s moisture. Cleanse your skin twice if you wear makeup, but avoid harsh scrubbing.

3. Moisturize with Nourishing Ingredients After cleansing, apply a rich moisturizer containing ingredients like hyaluronic acid, ceramides, and glycerin. These help lock in moisture and restore your skin’s natural barrier. If your skin feels very dry, you can add a serum with hyaluronic acid before applying the moisturizer or use a nighttime mask once or twice a week.

4. Use Sunscreen Applying a sufficient amount of sunscreen helps prevent skin dullness, tanning, and hyperpigmentation. Choose a sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher, ideally with added moisturizing properties.

5. Add Vitamin C Serum If your skin appears dull, adding a vitamin C serum can enhance its brightness and protect it from environmental damage throughout the day.

6. Exfoliation If you suffer from acne, light exfoliation using serums that contain salicylic acid may help. Use it once a week with moisturizers to avoid further breakouts, as dry skin tends to produce more oil, which can lead to more acne.

7. Facial Massage Start massaging your face gently to improve circulation and lymphatic drainage, which helps reduce puffiness, especially around the eyes.
