Jordanian Academic Oversees the Writing of a Landmark Arabic Series Produced by Qatar Television
Doha – The Qatar Media Corporation announced the launch of the historical series "Swords of the Arabs", a unique drama project featuring over 80 actors from Jordan and various Arab countries.اضافة اعلان

The corporation stated on its website today, Thursday, that the series is led by a distinguished team of drama creators.

The script was written by a specialized team under the supervision of Jordanian academic and writer Dr. Muhammad Al-Batoush, directed by Samer Jabr, and executed by art producer Al-Hadi Qarniit.

Dr. Al-Batoush, born in Karak in 1971, has written numerous historical, Bedouin, and social dramas, as well as plays.

He was awarded the 2003 State Incentive Award in Arts for his play "Halimah". Among his notable works are "Samarqand" (2016), "Al-Azeema" (2016), "Abu Jaafar Al-Mansour" (2008), and "Shawq" (2017).

Produced by Qatar Television, renowned for delivering media content that reflects Arab and Islamic cultural identity, the series boasts a stellar cast.

Leading Jordanian actors include Mondher Rayahneh, Abdul Karim Al-Qawasmi, Akef Najm, Nidal Najm, and Khaled Najm.

The Arab cast features prominent names such as Jamal Suleiman, Salloum Haddad, Bassam Yakhour, Mohammad Al-Muftah, Nasser Abdul Redha, Ghazi Hussein, Mohammad Khouyi, Ezz Al-Arab Kaghat, Riham Al-Qassar, Mohammad Al-Ibrahimi, and Samira Maqroun.

The series, "Swords of the Arabs", delves into the history of the Arab sword, tracing its evolution through the ages.

It utilizes cinematic filming techniques and a sophisticated artistic vision to revive significant historical details in an engaging and captivating manner.

The project aims to present Arabic content that enhances awareness of Arab and Islamic civilization, highlighting its depth and influence in a way that resonates with modern viewers.
