AMMAN — The national boxing team snagged 10 colorful medals, including five
gold, two silver, and three bronze at the end of its participation in the
Memorial International Boxing Tournament at Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Around 75 players
participated representing a total of 16 countries.
The gold medals were
won for Oday Al-Hindawi for the under-86kg category, Hussein Ashish under-81kg,
Ziad Ashish under-71kg, Mohammed Abu Jaja under-60kg, and Youssef Ashish
under-57kg.
The two silver medals
were awarded to Mahdi Al-Mashaleh for the under-54kg category and Ahmed Taimat
for the under-92kg category.
Bronze medals were won by players Zaid Al-Bitar
for the under-54kg category, Ahmed Al-Tamari under-86kg, and Muhammad Younis
under-86kg.
